You
might wonder how a blueslegend like PHIL GUY from Chicago
and a bunch of Finns calling themselves the WENTUS BLUES BAND
got together, and when you ask them they really don't know how either.
One thing is definitely for sure, that the first shows they did
together really gave them the hunger for some more, and at this
point they play together every time Phil comes over to Europe.
The show is in fact
one of the better Chicagoblues-acts around; so genuine that when
you listen to this record, you might think that you are in the southside
of Chicago in the early 60's. As the band strikes up saturday night
feeling: Nike "Young Blood" does some excellent guitarwork
while the rhythmsection of Robban and Axel keeps a steady rhythm.
Pepe "The Pimp" blows the harp like Like Walter tradition:
while on top of this Phil is soarin' above the band, singin', playin',
keeping his 54 Telecaster screamin and making the audience go crazy.
Look for them, they
will groove you into loving the blues.
